All Power to the PowerPoint

Before PowerPoint, one of the few options for giving a client presentation was to use a flip-over chart, the ‘portable’ version of which was the size of a standard French window. The handle on the top of the carry case was useless unless you happened to be eight-foot tall, it was almost impossible to get on the Underground and, above ground, anything over a light breeze had you hang-gliding over Oxford Circus.
