SAN FRANCISCO, CA. 12 December 2008: Thermo Fisher Scientific Inc., the world leader in serving science, will present a series of workshops highlighting new technologies for cell biology as part of the Exhibitor Showcase at the 48th Annual Meeting of the American Society for Cell Biology (ASCB). Five workshops will showcase the expertise of Thermo Fisher Scientific around key mammalian cell-based research technologies as featured in the company’s Stem Cell Excellence™ program.
Technical experts will cover the latest tools and techniques available for cell-based research, including new thermo-responsive growth surfaces; tools for stem cell maintenance and differentiation; best practices for RNAi-based experimentation; kits and services for biomarker analysis, and techniques for cellular proteomics.

Access to a New World of RNAi-based Discovery will be presented by Emily Anderson on Dec. 15, 7-9 a.m.
